On Saturday, Feb 26, 2000, My friends decided to throw me a surprise birthday party. It really was great! I am so lucky to have such great friends. Here is the cake that we had. Notice the decorations on top. Linda free handed the Gonzo all by herself!!!

Before the party, we had dinner together. Linda baked and everyone helped. For some reason, I decided that everyone needed to wear a funny hat. Brian and Dahl opted to go with the paper bag version. Brian's is actually a Priority mail envelope, while Dahl is sporting a brown bag.

Lynn, the fool making the face had her little black velvet hat on while Juli was playing Merlin.

Naturally, what party would be complete without Scotty wearing his huge hat. He actually wears this out to raves occasionally. What can I say, he's unique.

And finally, the prince of the evening .... yup thats me, and the crown was provided by my sister...

Me again. I think I had a few drinks by now. Behind me Brian is talking with Dan, I think, and my sister is being slightly amused by something going on at the table. I especially like this shot because you can also see Shelia, Rick, and Kris in the reflection.
