| In January 2001, I went to Nevada with Dan. While there we visited the Hover Dam. This is a view from the top of the dam. | This is me next to the generators outside the dam. | These are the turbines that provide the electricity for Los Angeles. They were extremely loud. | ||||||||||

| You dont get to realize how huge this dam is until you are at the bottom looking up. | These pictures don't even begin to do it justice. | What's more amazing, is that it was created many years ago. What an amazing feat of engineering. | ||||||||||
