This kid was also waiting for the torch, but I don't think he really knew what he was doing there. The torch! I tried to blow it out but I was unsuccessful. On the 1st day of the Olympics we ventured out during a blizzard to see the Men's Ski Jumping Qualifications.
Unfortunately due to high winds and visibility the event was postponned and we were left standing in the blizzard for 3 hours for nothing. Finally the biggest event of the Olympics was about to happen. The Opening Ceremonies. Here is Linda and her nephews preparing to go inside. Here we see the crew preparing the ice for the show. I especially like the baby zambonie. I wonder if I can get it for my pool....
They asked everyone to wear these stupid white ponchos, but I would not let them boss me around. Ok so I let them boss me around. The Utans can be so forceful. This is what we all looked like, a bunch of albino freaks.
Before the ceremonies began, R Kelly sang his latest song. I found it odd that he was reading the lyrics off of a teleprompter...
