| Finally the Olympic Torch is brought into the stadium | and skated around for a while. | The torch eventually makes its way up to the top of the stands where the 1980 USA Gold Medal Hockey Team lit the cauldren. | ||||||||||

| The Cauldren is Lit and will remain lit for the 17 days of the games. | This was a real neat effect in which the 5 rings were burnt onto the ice. | The end of the ceremonies. | ||||||||||

| Let the games begin! | On our way to a hockey game, we passed the Salt Lake City Enterasys Office and I just had to take a picture. (In case you were wondering, that is the company I work for.) | Here I am standing outside of the E-center just before the first mens hockey game. | ||||||||||

Since USA was not playing, Linda and I became posers and we cheered for Slovakia with the Slovakian fans. | |||||||||||
